A tram which has been out of service for more than 40 years has returned to the rails this week.

Tram No. 14 hasn't been in service since the 1970s and later fell into disrepair.

Volunteers have spent three-and-a-half years restoring the tram.

Yesterday, the tram made it's inaugural journey form Douglas to Laxey as part of the Manx Electric Railway's 125th anniversary celebrations.

David Martin is one of the volunteers who helped restore the tram - he spoke to MTTV.
