Full refunds for Rally Officials & Competitors

Volunteer marshals and officials who booked and paid for travel and accommodation will be fully refunded following the cancellation of this year's Rally Isle of Man.

Department of Enterprise has been with working Isle of Man Event Services to 'understand and mitigate' the financial impact.

Rally Isle of Man have also already confirmed that all of the Rally teams will get their entry fees refunded in full.

A statement said: ’Many stakeholders involved, including Isle of Man Steam Packet and a number of hotels, have helped to support this to ensure full refunds are available recognising the unique contribution marshals and officials make to this and other events and to ensure that although deeply disappointed by the cancellation, they are not also out of pocket.

Organisers were forced to cancel this month's event due to delays in securing a Road Closure Order from the Department of Infrastructure.
