Local politicians attend UK Party conferences

The Chief Minister of the Isle of Man will be attending the Conservative Party Conference in Birmingham next week.

Howard Quayle will be joined by Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan and Health Minister David Ashford at the event.

Mr Quayle hopes the trip will allow the Manx delegates to gain further insight into the Tories plans for the UK after leaving the European Union.

The Chief Minister and Enterprise Minister Lawrence Skelly met with Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn at their party conference in Liverpool this weekend.
