Take Lead On Climate Change Say Manx Labour Party

There are calls for the Isle of Man to show leadership when it comes to climate change.

It’s after a gloomy forecast by the United Nations warned that global temperatures must be curbed to 1 point 5 degrees Celsius in the next 12 years, or extreme weather such as flooding or droughts could worsen

Now, the Manx Labour Party wants to see ‘urgent and drastic’ action and wants a panel of experts set up to lead policy on the issue.

Joney Faragher from the Party thinks the Island has what it takes to make change happen.
