Douglas MHK Wants More Done On Tackling Climate Change

There are calls for the Isle of Man to become a world leader when it comes to tackling climate change.

In light of a damning report by the United Nations, which has warned global temperatures must be curbed to 1 and a half degrees Celsius within the next 12 years, the Manx Labour Party wants to see decisive action taken on the Island.

They’re calling for a panel of experts to be created to help shape policy on the issue.

Douglas North MHK, Ralph Peake is echoing the call for more to be done, but can understand why individuals may feel reluctant to change their habits:
