Taxi Driver Fined For Driving Offence

A taxi driver on the Island has been fined after failing to stop at a stop sign.

22-year-old Luke Dawson from Douglas was fined £300 after he admitted to the offence.

Dawson was stopped by police in July after a patrol car had to swerve to avoid a collision.

He was also ordered to pay £50 in prosecution costs and given three penalty points on his licence.
