Manx charity writes to Japanese Embassy and Government

Thu, 27 Dec 2018

There’s a warning from a Manx charity that Japan’s special relationship with the Island could be damaged.

It comes as the country decides to resume commercial whaling.

Manx charity Beach Buddies has written to the Japanese Embassy in London and the Japanese Government to protest against the move.

The letter highlights Japan's special relationship with the Isle of Man through the TT, and warns Japanese brands such as Honda and Suzuki could face a boycott.
