Memorial bench damaged in Ramsey

Police in the north of the Island are appealing for information after damage was caused to a memorial bench.

Officers from the Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team say the bench in Lezayre Church in Churchtown has been targeted over the last few weeks.

A spokesperson said: "Along with the financial implication of fixing the damage, this mindless vandalism has caused significant upset to the family."

Officers are appealing for anyone with any knowledge of the damage to contact Ramsey Police Station on 812234 or Police Headquarters on 631212.
