Coastal overtopping warning from Met Office

The Met Office is warning waves could break over the Island's coastal roads and promenades.

An amber weather warning is in place from 9:30pm tonight until 2pm tomorrow.

Meteorologists expect Shore Road in Rushen, Gansey / Port St Mary, Castletown Promenade and the northern end of Douglas Promenade, Laxey prom and perhaps parts of Ramsey prom to be affected.

There's a slight risk of minor flooding in the lowest-lying inner harbour areas just before midday tomorrow.
