Douglas man arrested after unpaid fare dispute

Police are appealing for witnesses after a taxi driver was allegedly abused in the capital.

The incident happened in Victoria Street on Saturday evening.

Investigating officers say an argument broke out over an unpaid fare.

A 29-year-old man from Douglas was arrested for being drunk and disorderly. He will appear at Douglas Courthouse next month.
