Young construction workers to put their skills to the test

Three young apprentices will showcase their skills to the local industry in a day-long competition later this week.

Frankie Sansbury, Darren Smith and Owen Bowman will be among the young construction talent competing against each other in six trades: plumbing, carpentry and joinery, painting and decorating, electrical installation, horticulture and brickwork.

The homebuilder Dandara is supporting the construction skills test at University College Isle of Man on Friday.
