Police are looking to speak with a man assaulted in Douglas at the weekend

The incident is being called a 'violent and unnecessary attack'.

It happened at about half 9 at night behind the Strand Shopping Centre.

Officers want to check the man is safe and well - and are also keen to hear from anyone who knows anything about the incident.
