A Peel man has been treated for smoke inhalation after a fire at his home

Crews from Peel and Kirk Michael were called to the property on Patrick Street this morning.

When they got there, they found the resident had been helped outside by a passer by.

They tackled the fire from both inside the house and the roof, before checking for hot spots.
