Six-hour repair to the Ben-my-Chree

The Steam Packet Company say it is confident engineers can fix a technical issue with the Ben-my-Chree.

A technical issue with the boats stern door resulted in sailings being cancelled earlier this morning and later today. The repairs are expected to take up to six hours to fix.

The 7:45pm sailing from Douglas to Heysham is expected to depart on schedule.

Passengers are being offered to transfer to the Manannan.
