Swapping the steel at Queen's Pier

Major work on Queen's Pier in Ramsey is progressing well.

The new steel sections are due to be in put in place by crane this weekend.

The Victorian pier opened in 1886, and previously had a tramway, but the pier has been closed since 1991.

Speaking to MTTV - Project Manager for the Queen's Pier Restoration Trust Stuart McKenzie says it will be an intense weekend of work for the pier.
