Coca-Cola billionaire arrested after 5,000 cannabis plants found in jet

A Manx-based billionaire has been arrested in the Caribbean after an estimated 5,000 cannabis plants were found in his private jet.

Alkivaides "Alki" David was arrested and charged with drug smuggling in St Kitts on Friday.

The 50-year-old claims his cargo is legal and non-psychoactive because its 'pure hemp'.

David is expected to appear at the Basseterre Magistrate Court tomorrow.

The Greek Coca-Cola billionaire entrepreneur was ordered to pay $11 million in a sexual assault trial last month.
