Rider taken to hospital after crash at Guthrie's Memorial

A motorbike rider has been taken to hospital following a crash earlier on the Mountain Road.

Emergency services responded to the collision in the area of Guthrie's Memorial.

Police confirmed one rider was taken to Nobles Hospital with injuries.

A section of fencing also needed to be repaired immediately to prevent livestock from getting onto the road.

The entire Mountain Road is now open.
