Drunk found riding children's bike along Douglas Prom

A drunken reveller was found wobbling along Douglas Promenade with a children's bike and helmet.

The incident happened in the early hours of this morning.

Police are looking to repatriate the items of property back to their rightful owners.

A force spokesperson said: "Whilst we appreciate the sentiment and we love all things bike at TT, we're sure a child will be without their prized possession this morning and a biker will be without their helmet meaning they won't be able to enjoy our roads safely."

The owners or anyone with information is asked to contact Police Headquarters.
