New research festival for island

A new festival on the island hopes to bring together researchers from all industries takes place next month.

University College Isle of Man will host the Festival of Research on July 19.

Speakers and panellists from different fields will discuss a variety of topics.

Workshops will also be presented on areas such as securing funding, accessing free academic resources and writing for publications.
