First residents move into the £8.4m housing development

Thu, 27 Jun 2019

An event was held yesterday at the Clagh Vane estate to celebrate the first residents moving into the £8.4m housing development in Ballasalla.

Michelle Williams was presented with a bouquet of flowers on the doorstep of her new home by Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer MHK and Julie Edge MHK, Member with responsibility for Public Estates and Housing.

The 42-home Horse Shoe in the Clagh Vane estate was demolished in 2016, and will be replaced by 51 new properties.

A total of 23 properties have been handed over by the developer, comprising phases 1 and 2, with phase 3 following in the autumn.
