Crews tackle large fire in Andreas

Firefighters were called out to tackle a large fire in Andreas on Saturday night.

Crews from Ramsey, Kirk Michael and Douglas responded to the large fire in the open on the Bernahara Road.

On arrival crews discovered a large fire involving waste materials.

The fire was contained and extinguished by using two hose jets.

Crews were in attendance for approximately 2 hours.
