Stolen backpack recovered

A backpack which was stolen during a burglary last weekend has been recovered.

The bag was taken along with substantial amount of money from a property in Onchan.

Officer say the stolen bag has since been recovered.

A force spokesperson said: "We would like to thank the young people that saw the bag and phoned the police as they could see contents inside. This is a testament to the honesty of our young residents."
