Man arrested for driving on closed roads

A driver has been arrested after driving onto closeds road this evening.

Police say a vehicle was ordered into a lay-by marshals but the driver ignored the advice.

The driver did a u-turn and drove against the TT course for around half a mile.

Marshals were forced to stand in the road in order to direct the car off the closed road.

Sergeant Cretney, Force Incidet Manager said: "The potential consequences to this could have been catastrophic . One male now on his way to custody".
