Confusion about how to use child car seats

Fri, 06 Sep 2019

A recent police open day revealed that 70 per-cent of child seats tested in the Isle of Man were the wrong type or size for the child or were fitted incorrectly.

UK-based car seat experts Child Seat Safety will run a certified training course and assessment for the Road Safety Team later this month. Places will also be offered to complementary organisations such as the maternity ward.

Providing training and advice in the fitting of child restraints, it is the only nationally approved course which has been licenced by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and is certified by CPD.
