RNLI Douglas crews have recovered two people from a dinghy near Victoria Pier.

Crews were called to assist people stranded near the Tower of Refuge on Saturday evening.

The Marine Engineer lifeboat was launched from Douglas quickly and transferred the two occupants of the dinghy onboard the lifeboat, all being well.

They remained on the lifeboat until they were recovered to the boathouse after the RNLI team towed the dinghy to then be passed onto Coastguard teams at the Battery Pier.
