Residents speak out about Thomas Cook chaos

Local people who have been caught up in the collapse of Travel Agent Thomas Cook, have shared their frustration and disappointment about the situation.

Thousands of people from the UK and Isle of Man who had travelled on holidays booked with the branch are stranded abroad, resulting in the biggest ever peacetime repatriation - an effort to bring over 150,000 British holidaymakers home is underway.

The Strand Street branch of the travel company is currently closed, with no information on the windows or doors about what people who had booked holidays with the company should do.
