Baby Loss Awareness Week highlighted by local charity

Wed, 09 Oct 2019

A local charity is highlighting Baby Loss Awareness Week around Douglas.

From today until 15th October Baby Loss Awareness Week is being recognised across the UK and Island to support mothers and their families who have lost a child.

A Little Piece of Hope are displaying stalls and information about what support is available to people at Nobles Hospital and The Strand Shopping Centre.

Helen Walmsley is one of the charity's founders - she said this week is to help raise awareness for parents and families in need of support:

Manx Utilities will also light Douglas Power Station pink and blue in the evenings this week.
