Cyber security experts and Police taking part in CyberISLE

Wed, 23 Oct 2019

A major cyber security event is taking place today with security experts and members of the IOM Police giving valuable advice.

Taking place at the Villa Marina Royal Hall, the event is being hosted by the Office of Cyber Security & Information Assurance (OCSIA), featuring world-class speakers, solutions and opportunities for interaction between the public and private sectors.

Registered attendees will be briefed on the evolving cyber threat and how people must respond as individuals and as a community to keep the Isle of Man safe in cyberspace.

The Office of Cyber Security & Information Assurance exists to act as a focal point in developing the Island’s cyber resilience, working in partnership with private and third sector organisations together with the wider population.

Members of the National Cyber Security Centre, IOM Constabulary's Chief Constable Gary Roberts and Superintendent Jed Bibby will all be giving talks.
