Island's first organ donation Remembrance Service next month

Organ Donation Isle of Man will be holding the Island's first service of Remembrance for Organ Donor families next month.

It will be held at St George's Church in Douglas from 3pm on Saturday 7th December.

Anyone who has been affected by organ donation or transplant is encouraged to join the event, which will be led by The Venerable Andrew Brown Archdeacon of Man.

Families will be invited to light a candle during the service for their loved ones or donor, and any photos people would like shared can be emailed to diane.taylor@isleofman.com by PDF before 25th November - these can be shown on screens inside the church.

Light refreshments will be provided after the event, which the Organ Donation Committee hopes will be held annually.
