Yellow Weather Warning in place until tomorrow morning
Sat, 09 Nov 2019
A Yellow Weather Warning is currently in place until tomorrow (Sunday 10th Nov) at 11am.
The Isle of Man MET Office said there's heavy rain throughout today, with 15-20mm of rain at low levels and 30-40mm over hills.
As the rainfall will be over 18 hours, there will be a lot of water on the roads at times but it's unlikely to cause anything other than minor flooding.
Rain will clear late in the evening and temperatures will fall to around 2 Celsius in places sheltered from the wind.
Icy streches are likely on the Mountain Road and at lower levels, especially in central, southern and western locations.
More information about weather and flooding updates can be found on the IOM Government website, or visiting Floodwatch IOM.
