Chief Minister lays wreath at London ceremony

Mon, 11 Nov 2019

The Chief Minister laid a wreath on behalf of the country at yesterday's remembrance ceremony in Central London.

Howard Quayle took part in the National Service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph in Whitehall.

It was the first time representatives of the three Crown Dependencies laid their own wreaths in recognition of contributions in both World Wars as well as other conflicts.

The act was performed by the Queen and the British foreign secretary in previous years.
