A charity event which had TT racer Guy Martin in attendance has raised £17,000 for the Huntington's Disease Association Isle of Man.

 

'An Evening With Guy' was organised on behalf of the Watson family at the Comis Hotel, Santon, with dinner, a raffle, lucky dip, auction and goodie bags given out, containing a selection of Guy's merchandise.

 

Huntington's Disease Association IOM said the funds raised will help increase awareness, provide a support group for patients, carers and professionals resident on the Island to come together and share information to help each other.

 

Event organiser Lee Watson said: 'The Watson family would like to sincerely thank the Stars Group for their financial assistance, everyone who attended the event, those who donated prizes and those who gave moral support.'
