Care home investigation still active says police

Police are continuing to investigate a number of COVID-19 deaths at a care home in Ballsalla.

20 Residents at Abbotswood Care Home died following an outbreak of coronavirus earlier this year.

Two separate investigations were launched but were put on hold by the Department of Health and Social Care after it decided to allow police to investigate.

The Island's force says inquiries are still active and on-going.
