Witness appeal to collision on St Marks Road

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision on the St Marks Road.

It happened on the route between Ballasalla and St Marks yesterday at 4pm.

A car has overtaken a line of slow moving traffic on the lead up to a tight corner and has met another vehicle coming in the opposite direction while on the wrong side of the road, this has caused another vehicle to have to leave the road to avoid a head-on collision.

The offending vehicle sped off from the scene without stopping.

It is believed that there were other vehicles, including a tractor present.
