Tim Glover to stand in General Election

A former news editor has declared his intention to stand for Arbory, Castletown and Malew in this year's General Election.

Tim Glover worked for Manx Radio for 24 years and stood down from his position last week.

Mr Glover's priorities for the forthcoming election include affordable housing, mental health, climate change, exam pressure in education and the Island's recovery from the coronavirus pandemic.

Independent candidate Ian-James Clanton is also standing for the constituency.

The Isle of Man's General Election will take place on 23rd September 2021.
