Power restored after electricity pole fire

Power was restored to homes in the Foxdale, St John's and St Marks area in the early hours of this morning.

An overhead line pole caught fire on the Foxdale Road last night near the Eairy Dam.

Properties lost power as Manx Utilities needed to isolate supplies to carry out emergency repairs.

The road was also closed while the incident was dealt with but has since re-opened.
