Man charged with robbery of Olympian Mark Cavendish at home

A man has been charged with robbing Manx cyclist Mark Cavendish at his home in Essex.

It happened at around 2.35am on Saturday 27 November.

Romario Henry was arrested on Saturday.

The 30 year-old, of Bell Green, Lewisham, London will appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court today (Monday 20 December) charged with two counts of robbery.

Two 27 year-old men – one from Gillingham and one from Camberwell – were also arrested last week.

They have been released on bail until 112 January
