Domestic gas prices to decrease by a further 16%

Thu, 16 Feb 2023

Domestic gas prices in the Isle of Man are set to fall again, with the All Island tariff going down from 16.67 pence per unit to 13.98 pence per unit, as a result of the continued settling of the global energy market.

The price change will mean that the price of natural gas for domestic customers will decrease by 16% from 16.67p to 13.98p per unit on the 1st March 2023. Overall the price for domestic customers has decreased by almost 37% since November 2022.

Isle of Man Energy will apply the decrease on gas used after 1st March. If customers’ bills cover periods before and after 1st March, they will get charged the current rate up to 28th February and the new rate from 1st March.
