Residents voice concerns over windfarm proposals in the south

A public meeting was held last night to discuss the onshore and offshore windfarm proposals that could be developed on the Island.
 
It was organised by residents in the south and had various speakers on windfarms, geothermal energy and how renewable energy could be financed.
 
Around 50 to 70 people attended the meeting, and many believed the project shouldn’t go ahead, whilst others felt they needed more information.
 
Local Democracy Reporter Emma Draper went to the meeting and spoke to Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Tim Glover and Liberal
