Greenlight Television has secured the contract to provide live coverage of the upcoming Formula 4 Saudi Arabian Series, producing content from each of the six race weekends from its Tromode production facility.

The first event takes place this week at Bahrain International Circuit, starting on Friday 15th December. Greenlight camera crews will be on-site at the circuit, and utilizing the latest broadcast technology will send their pictures back to the production gallery at the company’s Isle of Man base where they will be cut together into a live feed, with timing graphics, replays and commentary added, before being broadcast live to a host of channels across the globe.

Eight half-hour highlight programmes will also be made from each round, four in English and four in Arabic, syndicated globally as part of the international distribution of the Series.

As well as reporting on of all the wheel-to-wheel racing, Greenlight TV will also produce a six-part documentary following the behind-the-scenes drama from Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia, as the most talented young drivers from the region compete for their chance to progress closer towards Formula 1.

David Beynon, Director of Greenlight, "we are delighted to have secured coverage of this exciting Championship and look forward to bringing all the action and personalities to viewers around the world. The developments in technology mean that we can cover races live, from anywhere in the World, all from our Isle of Man base."

Following the opening round this week the Middle Eastern race series will head to the Lusail F1 circuit in Qatar on 7th January, Kuwait Motor Town on 25th January and 2nd February, before finishing in at the Jeddah Corniche circuit in Saudi Arabia at the end of March.
